上周末我去了 Hirshhorn Museum 看展。

我其实在疫情间也一直有和朋友去别的 Smithsonian 博物馆看展，不过 Hirshhorn 倒是很久没去了，上一次去大概还是几年前看艾未未。

这次去是为了看 Laurie Anderson 的特展，展览的名字叫 The Weather。看展览介绍的时候我只是觉得这个展览的风格很漂亮，深入了解了下 Anderson 之后我才知道，原来她就是陪伴了 Velvet Underground 主唱 Lou Reed 二十年、直到人生最后的伴侣和艺术合伙人。

她在 Spotify 上被收听次数最多的一首歌叫 O Superman。这是一首关于伊朗人质危机的反战歌曲，后来还被 David Bowie 翻唱过。关于伊朗人质危机，另一部很著名的作品是电影《逃离德黑兰》。这首歌里有一句改编自《道德经》里的歌词，也被印在了一个展厅的墙上：

这场展览最核心的展品是一间涂满了涂鸦的房间。这个房间里密密麻麻写满了文字。我拍下了一些很喜欢的句子，比如说：

I dreamed I had to take a test in a Dairy Queen on another planet.

They say you die three times. First, when your heart stops. Second, when they put you in the ground. Third, the last time someone says your name.

Always keep a diamond in your mind.

Civilization began when the first angry person cast a word instead of a rock. (And then along came QAnon.)

Hope is a tchotchke sitting on a high shelf along with other fragile things… Every time a train went by, the house shook and things fell off the shelf. Each time this happened they were replaced by cheaper and cheaper things until nothing was left but a collection of cheap unbreakable plastic junk.

最后这一段话配合了一个小装置：一个架子上放了些玻璃杯子，每隔一段时间，展厅里就会响起火车的声音，以及玻璃杯子在架子上震动发出的响声。

读着这个房间里写的句子，让我想起以前读过的一些木心的诗句，比如这句”玫瑰之蕊，以为世界是粉红色的“。

这个展览是由她和台湾 VR 艺术家黄心健共同创作的 VR 作品 Chalkroom 改造过来的。这还曾经在上海展出过。Anderson 花了好几周的时间才在 Hirshhorn 里复刻出了这个房间的样子。

展览里另一组很吸引我的展品是她发明的小提琴们。包括一把通过琴弓上的顶针与琴身上的唱片接触来”播放“音乐的小提琴（”viophonograph“）、一把电子小提琴，和一个琴弓是由磁带的带子做成的、演奏起来就像是播放磁带一样的小提琴（”tape bow violin”）。Laurie Anderson 的艺术想法也太好了，忍不住想把她比作达芬奇。

昨天在家翻油管的时候翻到了她去年初在哈佛大学做的一系列六场的讲座，名为”Spending the War Without You“。通过 Zoom 也能完美地做出一场场多媒体表演的，大概也只有 Anderson 了。她的气质是我做梦也想成为的老太太的样子。说话温柔的样子、把艺术活进生活里的样子、不和这个世界脱离却永远站在制高点来看这个世界的样子、永远怀揣一颗好奇心的样子。“Always keep a diamond in your mind.”她贯彻到了。
